• BH Pheasant Tail, Angel Hair. The most useful nymph in the Sierra.

• Black Buzzer. The fly for Crowley, where midges are the main food all season.

• Elk Hair Caddis, Brown. The most dependable hatch on the rivers.

• Adams Parachute. Imitates nothing exactly and everything approximately.

• TG BH Zebra Midge, Black. Your dropper for everything.

• BH Olive Hares Ear. The buggy generalist when you have no idea what they are eating.

• Czech Nymph, Natural. Reaches the bottom of the fast runs.

• The Green Damsel Nymph. Turns a slow Crowley morning into a good one.

• Wooly Bugger, Brown. For a bigger fish or coloured water.

• BL Bright Red Weighted Squirmy Wormy. Not pretty. Works.

• Black Gnat Parachute. Small, dark and sitting low in the film, which covers ants, beetles and anything else that falls in.

• Gemma Trico Dun. For Hot Creek in late summer, when nothing bigger will do.

Sizes are chosen for the season you are fishing. Tell us your dates and where you are headed and we will pick them properly.
